4/9/21 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger P.08 issued to the Imperial German military in 1911. The gun is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs. The gun has retained about 94% of its original bluing. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation and freckling throughout. There are areas of minor pitting on back strap, side plate, and barrel. There are some light dings and handling marks on the underside of the barrel. Minor wear on the side plate, high edges in general, and around the muzzle. Comes with very nice matching grips and a mismatched period-correct magazine. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout. The slide does not lock back with this magazine.
