9/26/17 – This is a first year, hard to find 1900 Luger production. It is characterized by the dish style toggle, hand grip safety, and blank receiver. The condition is fairly worn (maybe 90% blue) but original. The straps show the most wear, but there is patina showing through on much of the gun. It is GERMANY marked on the frame so have to assume it went to the US. There are proper B,U and G proofs on the barrel, toggle, and frame. All numbered parts are matching, except (perhaps factory error) for the take down lever which is numbered on the bottom. It has proper unnumbered grips and a blank bottom early magazine. The bore is in decent shape, with frosting through but visible lands and still shiny. Overall, a fine collector Luger that is over 100 years old
