3/8/23 – This is a nice example of a Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle, manufactured in 1889 and chambered in .32 WCF. There is not much actual finish loss except for some minor thinning on both sides of the receiver. While there isn’t much finish loss, there is heavy brown patina, spotty oxidation, and pin-pricking throughout. Some areas with tiny pits here and there. No major damage to the wood stock, but there is minor bruising and scratching throughout. The condition of the bore is poor – decent rifling, but there is heavy oxidation and pitting throughout. It is fully functional and the action is smooth.
