8/14/23 – This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army, manufactured in 1876. All matching with a 7.5″ barrel. This one has retained roughly 85% of its nickel-plated finish. There is chipping in the finish and spotty oxidation mostly on and around the cylinder. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips – there are some bruises and scratches on both sides. The bore is shiny for the most part with strong rifling, but there is some light spotty surface oxidation here and there. The cylinder is tight, the timing is good, and the action is smooth.
