10/22/18 – This is an original WW2 Senior NCOS SS Sword for the ranks of unterscharfuhrer to stumscharfuhrer. (Jr. squad leader to storm squad leader). Very hard to upgrade condition overall. There’s light paint loss on the scabbard but this is typical – the tip of the scabbard has some rust as well but minimal. The blade is excellent, near mint conditoin with a Julius Krebs maker stamp. Handle has no cracks or chips. The blade is 32 inches long, so this would have been given to a taller officer at the time. SS signature on the pommel cap and on the throat of the scabbard. Guaranteed original and authentic. Beautiful collector’s piece.
