12/19/18 – This is an original Krieghoff Luger receiver. The overall finish is in about 97% with only minimal bluing loss on the edges of the receiver and muzzle. Some light thinning around the “S” code proof as well. S code marked from 1936 and all original finish. The receiver is mismatched from the barrel. Receiver serial number is 8546 and the barrel is 2773. The barrel is eagle/655 proofed which means it’s a Mauser barrel on a Krieghoff receiver. The bore is about 8.5 out of 10 with minor patina and excellent rifling. Guaranteed original and authentic.
