7/18/24 – This is an excellent example of a Saginaw M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1943-44. The stock is marked “AAN”, indicating it was reworked at an Arsenal. A detailed parts list with markings is included in the photos. As you can see on the list, the recoil plate has a rare Irwin Pedersen maker. Comes with a canvas sling, oiler, and one magazine. The metal is arsenal-refinished and shows almost no signs of wear. Minty wood furniture. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling, but there is some light pin-pricking around the muzzle end.
