2/6/24 – This is a very nice example of a K98 Bayonet and matching-numbered scabbard from WW2. Both are “S/239G” marked. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips. It has retained most of its bluing, but there is spotty oxidation on most of the metal parts, especially on the scabbard. Some scratches and handling marks along the scabbard as well. The edge of the blade is dull.
