2/14/19 – This is an original, excellent condition ERMA made Luger cleaning rod guide. In the Weimar era and early WW2, these cleaning rod guides were issued with Lugers (mostly police Lugers). These are often seen with police lugers and were made with the intention of protecting the muzzle from being damaged by the cleaning rod. This piece is ERMA maker stamped, and has some sort of waffen or police stamp on the reverse side. This looks like a half-stamp with just half of the eagle wing showing. No rust or pitting, wonderful condition and original.
