11/20/24 – This is a good example of an M35 German Army Helmet with two exterior decals. The eagle decal on this helmet is still present and is recognizable, however the shield decal is almost entirely gone, with only enough to see that it was once there. The exterior of the helmet retains some of it’s original paint finish, but it does have spots of oxidation throughout. The interior of the helmet still has its liner, but this liner is cracked and is missing portions of leather. A portion of the leather chinstrap is still also present on this helmet. The helmet shell is maker marked “SE62” and heat stamped “4640”.
