2/19/19 – This is a great condition Mauser K98 Rifle Bayonet with a matching serial numbered scabbard and an Africa Corps issued canvas frog. The canvas frog is very rare, original, and in very good condition, with minor fraying and staining. The scabbard is in good condition with bluing loss, spotty discoloration, and a dimple or two. Serial number stamped “7505” on the front. The bayonet has a blued blade in very good condition with minimal scabbard wear and no evidence of sharpening. One side of the blade is serial numbered 7505. The reverse side is stamped “S/176G”. The reddish handle is excellent, and the top metal part of the handle and the crossgaurd has stick winged military proof stamps 137. The metal has spotty discoloration and finish loss. The release button is stamped “WaA253”. Guaranteed original.
