10/18/24 – This is an original Chilean bayonet that would be paired with a Mauser rifle. This bayonet is maker marked, “Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co – Solingen” and in great++ overall condition. A very nice unsharpened blade with only minor spots of wear and discoloration. The pommel and hand guard have mild amounts of oxidation. The serial number is stamped on one side of the hand guard. Great dark wood grip. The scabbard has the same serial number and in great overall condition with a nice strong finish.
