8/17/23 – This is an original, early/pre WW1 era production US M1912 holster. The holster is complete with the original swivel belt attachment and leather leg strap still intact. The holster shows signs of aging and use wear, with soft and pliable leather throughout. The back leather is cracking mostly towards the top and upper portion of the holster. The rounded edge of the holster also has leather cracking. The interior leather shows signs of use and has an added “CGA” ink stamp, as shown. The stitching is all original and in great condition, but there are a few missing stitches around the closure knob. The leg strap is in excellent condition. The back leather is maker stamped and dated, but is hard to read due to the leather wear around that area.
