7/24/18 – This is a Luftwaffe contract Walther PP rig from 1942. These are distinct in that they are in that they are waffen proofed on the slide and frame and their magazines are numbered on the base plate. They were issued with two numbered magazines, and this one comes with two near match original magazines. The pistol serial is 224xxx and the magazines are 224xxx and 223xxx. The original finish covers about 95% of the gun with most of the wear found on the left side of the slide and bottom of the back strap. The gun has matching frame and slide with eagle/N proofs on the slide, barrel and ejection port. Mechanically it is in good condition and has an excellent, shiny bore. Comes with a period correct but unmarked holster in excellent condition.
