7/18/18 – This is an original WW2 German dress bayonet. The bayonet was made by Eickhorn between 1936 and 1941. The blade is clean and excellent with some minor signs of use / surface scuffing near the blade edge in a few spots. The handle is excellent with no issues. The leather stopper is in tact. Comes with an original scabbard that has normal surface wear but no dents. The leather frog is in tact and original with a 1940 date stamp on the back (the maker is hard to decipher). Comes with a portepee in excellent condition.
