6/29/18 – This is an original K98 dress bayonet with a 7.5 inch blade (distance to pommel, actual edge length is 6.75 inches). The blade has some surface scratches from the scabbard, but unmarked and in excellent condition. The handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard has some minor paint loss. Black leather frog has surface wrinkling and some cracking. The lanyard is a leather “string” and green with silver ball. Guaranteed all original. Overall length in scabbard is 13.5 inches.
