6/15/18 – This is a superb and complete example of a Bergmann Bayard 1910/21 Dannish Army contract pistol rig. The Danish contract guns were made under contract by two Dannish Arsenals: Toijus and Rustkammer, with Rustkammer production being about half of the Toijus production. Danish made guns had a very nice finish and beautifully carved wood grips with an interesting checkering design. This is a complete set that includes an excellent unit marked holster and two matched magazines. The gun is in excellent condition, retaining about 95% of its original blue, with minor holster wear to the grip frame and high edges. There is no pitting anywhere. The bore is excellent, as are the grips. This is a rare example of an “as issued” rig that would be difficult, if not impossible, to upgrade. This is the first such complete rig that we have ever offered.
