6/14/18 – Very few Lugers were made for the Imperial German Army in 1910 and 1911. They also have some unique features. Most notably there is no lug stock, and the magazines were numbered vertically (Navy style). This luger has an excellent finish that I would rate about 97-98%. All numbered parts are matching including the hold open, firing pin and grips. The grips had a very slight wobble to them so I added a small piece of tape inside and now they fit snuggly. Only the magazine is not matching but it has the very early style numbering correct for a military gun this early. The checkering on the grips is sharp, and the bore is excellent. The straw color small parts are about 70%. Overall a rare early luger in excellent condition. Grip screws even have about 50% of the fire blue remaining.
