5/14/18 – This is a very scarce, original finish Smith & Wesson Pre-27 revolver. It was made in the early-mid 1950s, right after the war when S&W restarted production of .357 magnums as “Pre-27” model. A very small percentage of the early guns were made with the very desirable 3.5 inch barrels. This revolver is in excellent original condition, with 99% plus of the beautiful high luster finish present, with just a light cylinder ring. The frame, cylinder, grips and barrel all match. The bore is excellent. The grisp are correct “diamond magnas” that are matching to the gun and are minty as well. The box shows only minimal wear and is numbered faintly on the bottom with the full serial. This stunning nearly ANIB set is worthy of an advanced S&W collection!
