4/27/18 – This is an original 1939 dated Luger holster from WW2. The back of the holster is maker stamped with a waffen WaA286 military proof and 1939 date stamp. The leather is lightly worn and shows signs of having held a Luger for a while. The leather is soft and pliable and the closure strap has some surface wrinkling and light cracking. The main leather is lightly wrinkled with normal wear. The stitching is all tight and original. The back toe of leather has a name and number “11023” lightly scratched on. This seems like a German’s writing / name. A very nice holster with a little character from WW2. Guaranteed original.
