10/25/17 – This is an original WW2 production USM3 fighting knife with an original M6 leather scabbard. The M3 knife is maker stamped by Imperial and dated 1943 on the blade. This is the early, more scarce variation of blade dated knives known as the “first run” of production. The blade is in excellent condition with only minor surface wear. The handle is also excellent, and has black spacers on either side (another rare early feature). The rear spacer does have one hairline crack, but otherwise the spacers are excellent. The blade comes in a beautiful leather M6 scabbard that is maker stamped “L&C” as well as dated 1943. Guaranteed all original and authentic.
