3/3/18 – This is an original WW2 production US Marine Corps issued fighting knife, complete with the original leather scabbard. The blade is very rare, blued with a Robeson maker stamp on one side. The Robeson knives are the most desirable manufacturer from this time period. The reverse side of the blade is “U.S.M.C.” stamped. Very cool piece of American history! The blued on the blade has some normal wear, but overall is beautiful with no rust or pitting. Guaranteed original finish. The handle has red spacers and a leather grip. One side of the leather has “H 67” carved into it. This might be a unit number, but I am not sure. This is a minor detraction from the piece overall, and helps prove the piece to be an issued item from WW2. The leather scabbard is all original with original stitching and staples.
