6/27/23 – This is a near-mint Remington 1911, produced in 1944. It is all correct, with proper inspectors proofs on the frame, properly marked barrel and the crossed cannons cartouche on the right side of the frame. The original finish is about 99%, with slightly muzzle wear on the left side. Magazine is ‘R’ marked on the lip. Correct, excellent grips, and a minty bore.
