3/6/17 – This is an original Atwood production Himmler SS Dagger. Atwood was famous for using original factory parts in the Eickhorn factory and putting together rare pieces during the 1950s. This piece is featured in page 46 of Atwood’s book. The blade was made in the Eickhorn factory during the 1950s and is a very rare Himmler SS variation with an RZM stamp as well. The chain is also believed to be 1950s production, although we’re not 100% sure on that. It’s awfully convincing and has proper “SS” stamps on the interior of one chain link. The rest of the dagger parts are believed to be all original. Excellent condition overall and a very nice piece to own.
