11/25/24 – This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver from WW2. There is no “US Property” marking, but there is a military flaming bomb on the butt of the frame. There is a marking on the left side of the frame that reads “Broadcasting Branch – Crosley Corporation”. We couldn’t find much info on this – we assume that’s where the gun was issued. The gun’s original parkerized finish rates about 96-97% with just minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with proper wood grips – the right panel is numbered and matching. Minty bore.
