11/11/24 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1938. All matching (except for the rear toggle pin, which is un-numbered) with the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with of a very nice 1939-dated holster, an “Eagle 63” tool, and two mismatched “Eagle 63” magazines. The gun itself has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the grip straps, but there is also general minor high edge wear. Two noticeable dings in the metal at the front left of the slide and frame. The grips are mismatched, both numbered “52”. The wood is fairly worn with a noticeable bruise on the left side. Excellent, shiny bore.
