10/31/24 – This is a great example of a WW2 Reichspost visor cap. This visor cap is constructed of dark blue wool with a soft black doeskin cap band. The cap has very little moth damage, with only one small hole. The leather sweatband on the inside is starting to separate from the visor cap and has tears and is has parts of the band missing. The leather visor and strap are complete and have no damage. The inside of the visor cap no longer has the clear plastic piece, but the holes from where it was stitched in are still present.
