10/23/24 – This is an original British Pattern P1888 Lee Metford type 2 bayonet. The blade of this bayonet has discoloration throughout but no deep pitting or excessive damage to the edge. Markings on both sides of the blade as well as on top. The hand guard and pommel has some patina but no severe rusting. A nice wood grip. The leather scabbard has some cracking with some patina on the metal components.
