10/17/24 – This is an original WW2 era Kriegsmarine navy dagger with an original scabbard and portepee. The blade has an earlier 1930s style Eickhorn maker stamp and beautiful etching / engraving on both sides of the blade. There is some light, though minimal oxidation – overall in excellent condition. The scabbard has no dents but there is some light surface wear and orange colored discoloration in a few areas. The white colored bakelite handle is in nice+ condition with some cracking and a couple chips. The portepee is in minty condition. The hanger is in great shape with some mild wear and discoloration throughout. All original and authentic.
