10/17/24 – This is an original WW2 Arisaka Type 30 Bayonet. The bayonet is cited in Labar’s book: LB-126 Variation D. The bayonet features a blued, fullered blade that’s in good+ condition. mild finish loss throughout and typical scabbard rub wear. A cleanly sharpened edge with some minor dents on both side of the blade. Straight crossguard and bird’s head pommel has a strong patina throughout. The top of the pommel is serial numbered as shown. 2 piece contoured wood grips with screws and washers. Comes with a metal ball-tipped scabbard that has a few minor dents and dings, and dark surface patina throughout.
