10/1/24 – This is a nice example of a factory nickeled Colt Frontier Six Shooter revolver from 1882. It is chambered in .44 CF with a 7.5 inch barrel. All matching. It also comes fitted with a beautiful set of real ivory grips. The nickel-plated finish rates roughly 75-80%. There is some chipping in the finish, along with some light pin-pricking and spotty patina, concentrated mostly around the cylinder and where the barrel meets the frame. No damage to the ivory grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout. Fully functional. Smooth action. No FFL required.
