09/06/2024 – For sale is a Type 99 Arisaka made at the Kokura Arsenal during WW2. The rifle has a nice deep bluing from the arsenal with minor freckling of oxidation. The Imperial Mum on the receiver has been canceled with 2 strikes. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the bolt, firing pin, receiver, and bayonet lug. The safety knob has a 6 stamped but no other numbers are visible. The bore is bright but fully frosted. The dust cover does not match the rifle. The stock is in great condition darkened with age and some handling marks.
