9/5/24 – This is a near-excellent condition Walther PPK grip from WW2. The grip features an attractive black marbling throughout the brown bakelite and minimal warping or “flaring” at the top of the grip. These grips are brittle and often come with multiple cracks and hairline fractures. This example has one hairline crack on the left side, going down from the “A” in the Walther banner. The left side also has a very tiny hairline near the escutcheon hole. The spine of the grip shows another very small hairline crack. All three of these small imperfections are minimal and overall this grip is much nicer than most examples we’ve encountered (in this configuration from WW2). No screw or escutcheons included.
