8/31/24 – This is an early WW1 production Colt M1911 magazine. The magazine features a two-toned finish with the lower portion of the magazine being blued, and the upper portion unfinished. The base of the magazine has a lanyard loop, which is an earlier production feature. The base is held in place by two pins, which is typical of Colt manufacturing. The magazine is in very good overall condition with natural surface age and patina. There’s a small dent in the left side of the tube, but this doesn’t affect fit or function. Strong, fully functional spring.
