08/26/2024 – For sale is a scarce Finnish M39 assembled by Tikka in 1943. The rifle uses an original Russian 1897 receiver. Tikka made M39’s are scarce compared to Sako and VKT and recycled receivers from their M1891 rifles. The rifle looks fresh out of the arsenal with a dark finish applied throughout the metal. The stock is in excellent condition and has a transitional splice. The bore is very bright and has great rifling. The rifle is “Finnish Matching” with the barrel shank and bolt matching together.
