8/23/24 – This is a beautiful 1917 DWM Artillery Luger with original holster, cleaning rod and unmarked tool. The gun is all matching and has the correct German Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. It is in excellent condition, retaining around 97-98% of its bluing. Most of the wear is on the side plate, but there is a hint of wear on some of the high edges. Minor freckling around the muzzle and on the straps. There are small areas of wear at the base of both straps. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling. It comes with excellent grips and a mismatched WW1-era magazine. The left panel is unmarked but right panel is numbered and matching to the gun. The holster is in great condition with 1917 date and scarce maker (Otto Breitschuh). Robert Saltsman collection.
