8/8/24 – This is a desirable 1943 dated High Power holster from WWII. The holster is stamped under the closure strap with the “CGN” maker code, Waffen proof, and 1943 date. The dark brown leather is in great shape with rigid construction, yet pliable leather. Some wrinkling on the rounded top and closure strap, and the leather has distorted slightly in two areas where it is clear a gun must have been for extended periods of time. Aging and handling marks throughout, and the closure strap is also wrinkled. A prior owner scratched their name and initials on the back of the leather. Nevertheless, stitching and overall construction is original and structurally sound.
