8/7/24 – This is an original WW1 production 1915 dated Luger holster. The holster is in great+ overall condition with all original leather and stitching still intact – a fairly rare occurrence for these early WW1 production holsters. It’s dark brown leather is clean with some minor cracking and wear to the top edge of the closure strap that overlaps the spare magazine pouch. The closure strap has some wear and moderate amounts of cracking but still fully intact. The leather has mild pliability and a clean interior with some mild signs of use and aging. The interior lid is maker and date stamped with a crisp marking, as shown. There’s also a depot / distributor ink stamp on the interior lid as well. The backside is clean with a few mild scratches. All stitching is intact and appears to be original.
