8/6/24 – This is a near-mint example of a Colt Government Model MK IV Series 70, manufactured in 1978 and chambered in .38 super automatic. Mounted on the rear of the slide is a fully adjustable target-style U-notch sight. Fitted with gorgeous cherry wood red grips with press-fit Indian head pennies. There is only a very minor finish loss on the under part of the slide that comes in contact with the frame when the slide cycles. The bore has excellent rifling with some minor frosting in the grooves. Pistol comes with three magazines; the blued mag is colt marked, and the other two are generic.
