8/05/24 – This is an original production French M1866 Sword Rifle bayonet. The bayonet blade is in good condition with some honest wear and surface patina throughout. There’s no signs of sharpening, and a few spots of light pitting near the tip of the blade. The cross guard has dark patina throughout, and the original brass handle is in great condition. The scabbard has mild patina throughout as well but no major issues.
