7/25/24 – This is a nice example of a Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine from 1943-44. It is in a Type I configuration, but the serial number on the receiver puts it in the Type II range. All period-correct parts. A detailed parts list with markings is included in the photos. Comes with a proper canvas sling and one magazine. There is very little actual finish loss on the metal parts, but there is noticeable spotty surface oxidation along the barrel. Very nice wood furniture with a few bruises and tiny scratches. The bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is some very light pin-pricking around the muzzle end. The spring on the butt plate is a little worn.
