7/25/24 – This is a nice example of an Inland M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. It was reworked after the war – a bayonet lug was added – likely for re-issue during the Korean War. A detailed parts list with markings is included in the photos. The finish on the metal parts rates about 94-95%. There is some minor thinning and very light spotty oxidation along the barrel. The bolt has been parkerized. Nice wood furniture, but there is a wood repair along the top edge of the butt stock. Faint cross-canon cartouche on the right side of the butt stock. Mint bore. Comes with a canvas sling, oiler, and one magazine.
