7/12/24 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It has a “1920” government property marking on the chamber, indicating it remained in government service after WWI – likely reworked for police use. All matching with Imperial military proofs on the slide. Its original finish rates roughly 85%. The wear is somewhat spotty and concentrated on the high edges, around the chamber, and around the muzzle. Fitted with fairly worn matching-numbered grips – small chip in the upper corner of the left panel. Comes with a mismatched police arsenal-numbered magazine. Excellent, shiny bore.
