7/11/24 – This is an original 1941 K98 Bayonet manufactured by ASW. This bayonet comes with an unnumbered scabbard. The bayonet itself is in excellent condition with a blade that has the majority of its original blued finish. There is some light discoloration towards the tip but overall an excellent blade. The blade is marked 41asw on one side and “2587q” on the other. The hand guard has mild wear with a really nice black original grip. The pommel has some light patina and some moderate wear on the top where it is mounted to a rifle. The pommel is stamped with three eagle883 markings. The scabbard has a nice finish with some patina throughout, completely unmarked.
