9/30/2024 – For sale is a Type 99 Arisaka made by the Nagoya Arsenal towards the tail end of WW2. This rifle falls under the 10th series of production. The rifle features many “last ditch” features that simplify production. The metal retains its original bluing with some wear and aging. The Imperial Mum on the receiver has been ground. The stock is in great condition with dings and nicks from handling. The stock is a 3 piece stock which is typical for late-war rifles The bore is fairly bright but gets darker towards the muzzle. The rifle is matching on the receiver, bolt, extractor, firing pin, and safety knob.
