6/27/24 – This is a minty US Property marked Colt Model 1903. The gun was made in 1945, but these pistols were developed early in 1903 as small frame hammerless pocket automatic pistol and proved to be a very successful and popular design for Colt. They were eventually adopted by the US military during WWII as both a small frame sidearm and as a general officers pistol. This one is matching and comes with a Colt Factory letter that states this gun was shipped to a United States Government Transportation Officer at the Springfield Armory on January 30, 1945. It has retained virtually all of its finish with just a few light surface scuffs here and there. Mint wood grips. Comes with one magazine. Mint bore.
