6/24/24 – This is a rare Artillery Luger, made by Erfurt in 1914. Erfurt produced only 23,000 Artillery Lugers, all in 1914. This one is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs and Erfurt proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with an excellent holster, a luger tool (unit marked but mismatched), a period-correct cleaning rod, and a mismatched magazine. The gun itself has retained roughly 70% of its original finish. There is obvious finish loss and spotty oxidation along the barrel and on the grip straps. General high edge wear and some scratchy wear on the left side of the frame. Fitted with matching-numbered grips. The bore has good rifling, but there are small pits here and there.
