6/17/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. Correct Colt barrel with a small “F” under the lug. The slide and frame appear to have slightly different colors. Its original finish rates somewhere between 85-90% with thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with a proper “R” marked magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
