6/17/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt Government Model sold in the commercial market in 1948. It comes with a period-correct box and owners manual. The box has a number on the bottom that does not match the gun. The gun’s original finish rates roughly 80% with the majority of the wear being on the grip straps and around the high edges in general. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with one magazine. Excellent bore with great rifling.
