5/17/24 – This is an original 1943 dated hard shell style P.38 holster from WW2. The holster is in great overall condition with all original leather and stitching. The only notable flaw is the interior lift strap has been repaired with an old safety pin (shown in photos). The holster leather has normal pliability and light exterior surface wear from age and use. Normal wrinkling on the closure strap, but the leather is strong and solid throughout. All original stitching is in great shape. The back leather is well marked with crisp stamps. There’s a “cxb” maker code, 43 date, waffen military proof, and P.38 designation stamp.
